Daytime running lights - anyone installed a kit?
Aftermarket daytime runing light kits are mentioned in a few threads, but none of the threads indicate that anyone has actually installed one of these kits in a TSX.
Anyone out there who has actually done this? If so, how easy was the installation? Does the kit work as advertised? (Kits supposedly run the low beams at 75% of the normal nighttime output).
Thanks --
Mike

Not sure about a kit, but in certain light you can see that there is an unlit DRL designated light on the instrument panel, which I'm assuming, was disabled in the North American TSX. I know that on some cars people have discovered ways to splice the wiring and have DRLs without much aftermarket parts.

Then if you're afraid of your dash dimming too much during the day, turn the little knob that will light it back up to normal.
I bet you can get away with it too.
The Canadian TSX's have the DRL's.
With my 4runner i had that was a 2000, it had DRL's in it. I actually had disabled them. There was a little module that went under the hood. It looked like a resistor. I unplugged it and the DRL's were disabled.
Maybe... the canadian TSX's have a module that turns on the DRL's.
