Look at the pic of the speedometer. Isn't there supposed to be a MID right in between the two meters?

As answered elsewhere. That's normal when you turn on the car. Just hit the info button on the instrument panel or steering control and it will pull up the MID like normal.

It's just blacked out because no buttons were pressed to initiate the MID.

I think it's a little annoying having to press it every time when turning the ignition. Why can't it stay the way it is!
