So I'm in the market for a CPO 2006-08 6-speed with navi and the few that are out there are listed at $23-25k. I know these things are rare and hold their value well, but I could probably get a new 2G TSX for $28k. Of course it wouldn't be the model I want, but come on!

 

It is simply a matter of supply and demand.

As you know, the 2nd Gen TSX has a very different character and looks. That has made the 1st Gen TSX a rare, and unique, automobile. There is nothing else like it in the market.

 

unless you get an amazing deal on the 1st gen tsx, i would spend more n get the v6 tsx fo sure. i got my 08 with 121 miles for 24k flat

 

Just need to be patient and look - I got an 06 MT w/NAVI w/ 20K on the odo for 18,600 via private party sale - it still smells new and has 1.5 yrs left on the factory warranty.

 

They are difficult to find...I just bought my cpo'd '08 with nav last week. I had to drive 7 hours to get it b/c everything local was way overpriced. Mine was an auto with 30k miles, and I paid $24,000 OTD including taxes. It was more than I wanted to pay and had a little more miles than I wanted, but I got the color combo that I was looking for.

And it did take me a couple months to find it, too. Just be patient.
