Well, I finally got around to it. I took my Smartire monitor off the Velcro I was using on the left side of the dash and did a custom install in the storage bin. I had bought the storage bin off eBay a couple months ago from someone who installed the MP3 player so I still have a good bin to put back when I want to trade. This works out great because it is in the door and when I open the storage bin it is not in the way and I still have a full bin to use. My next project will be to move my remote radar detector control module out from under the instrument cowl and put it above the rearview mirror. However, I'm leery of running the wires in the A pillar because of the airbag. Has anyone here done this and have suggestions for running wires to the rearview mirror?

 

Come on guys... Somebody here must have run wires into the overhead lights/rear view mirrors by now.
