This winter has been horrible! It seems like we've had snow every week in the northeast. I guess there are some positives. Skiers/Snowboarders are most likely enjoying it and it'll help with the water situation for summer, but damn, this sucks!

Today on the drive back, I was on the higway doing about 50mph in 6th because the weather was so bad, on the hillclimbs the VSA was actually coming on because I was spinning.

I live in New York and spent the almost the whole day on the road in the miserable weather.
It wasn't all bad though I stopped at an Acura dealer to have a talk about getting my TSX, than I got to read the brochure when i was stuck in traffic for FOUR HOURS!!!!
Thank god for day dreaming.

Oh my god! I work in Newark and it took me 3 hours to get home. I live in Hoboken. The roads were super icey, and there were accidents everywhere. I finally felt VSA kick in a few times today. It help me regain control over some really bad icey patches. Thanks goodness for VSA.

Oh yeah, it was in the 50's here yesterday and then I woke up to 6 inches of snow in my driveway!!! Now it's down to the teens.... brrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
I am just so glad that my TSX drives so beautifully in the snow, and the heating system and heated seats work so well in this weather :-)

I've said it before. VSA really is amazing. I feel totally confident in bad weather because of it. I'm in NY and the drive home last night was really icy. I didn't have one moment of serious slippage. VSA kicked in a helped a few times throughout the commute. There was even once last night when I was going up a hill and a truck got stuck and was skidding and I went right up it, VSA kicking in the whole time. Was a great feeling.

I think people who complain about the measily few inches of snow every few weeks are whiny little bishes that need a good whack upside the head.
I'm from SoCal and if I don't think the snow is that bad, then nobody who's lived in the area longer than me has any reason to whine about the weather.

Dude, talk to me after you've lived in this type of weather for 28 years and its below 0 Celcius (32F) every year from November to March.
There's a reason Canadians retire in Florida and its not because the like the US.

CG, you're still at the point where snow is a relatively "new" experience for you, so you still enjoy it.
But for most people, winter becomes a drag quickly after the first storms.
I think you really need to take advantage of winter to really appreciate it. Obvioulsy, I don't enough.

We had an all of 2 weeks of winter this year (thanks global warming!?) back in Fall I think it was. Lowest snowfall in the mountains in around 50 years since they started recording. Very little rain. Lots and lots of sun. Where is this magical place, you ask? Arizona? New Mexico? Nope. Welcome to the New Seattle.
I miss rain....
