Hi Yall,

Just looked at an 07 base with 20K on it. Solid car. One thing thats making me nervous is one tire is way worn than the other three. Not just the edge, but the entire tire. Salesman (who seemed cool) said its probably due to the wheel being swapped out with another CPO on the lot.

Is there anything that would cuase this under the car I should be wary of? Of course, if there was a problem with the chassis, the outer edges of the tires might be shot, but the entrie thing is worn evenly. It does look older than the other three, too.

Of course, I drove it and it seems fine and solid. Tracks well, too, maybe pulls a bit, but nothing that would indicate a problem. Ducked under the car as well and no new bolts, repainted parts or anything that would signify the car had damage that was repaired. Carfax is clean, too.

Thoughts?

 

Nevvvrmind. Dealer confirmed with svc department that the wheel/tire in question was pulled off another car and put on this car temporarily, until sale.
