thank you for the replies. i foudn this on the acura parts site: 04715-SEC-A91ZZ ACURA TSX RR. BUMPER FACE (DOT) 2007 TSX $269.22. is this one of the many things that will be needed to fix the damage if therez no damage behind the bumper? Would it be cheaper to order the acura part and take it to acura dealer to fix it? or privately owned bodyshop?

nothing is ever cheap to fix at Acura...I would take it to a body shop, get it estimated, see if there is any damage behind the bumper. If there is no damage, I would just buy that bumper, get it painted, remove the old one while saving the clips/screws/bolts, and install the new one (or have the body shop do it for you).

Back in October 03 (when my car was only 3 months old), some dumb biatch rearended my car. It had similar damages as yours, only the dents were more toward the center of the bumper. Well, since it wasn't our fault and the insurance was paying for this, I took the car to Marco's Autobody (one of the best body shops in So. Cal.) and got it fixed. The total invoiced amount was close to $2k. It was expensive, but the repair came out perfect.

i had not quite as bad damage and it cost $1700...you'll be around $2k or more since you have to fix all the internal damage...if you know someone it will keep the cost down...too bad i'm in Nor Cal...i know a shop who does great work and at a good price

damn whats up with all the rear drivers side bumpers getting destroyed. like i said in the other thread i had the same thing happen to me and i had no internal damages so i say add about $600 to the cost of the bumper for a repaint. if its a good shop expect them to repaint basically the back 1/2 of your car blending.
