Corporate Pricing

I've searched for the past 20 minutes to find a thread on corporate pricing for participating employees. I can't find anything.

So I need some help. Is it invoice + something... a little help would be appreciated.
thanks

Acura will have deals with other corporations - for example, I work for Sprint. They do special pricing for these employees that tend to be invoice plus a little. Infiniti calls there program vpp program.

does that help?

I guess the +$x amount would depend on the company. I work for Bank One and they had invoice + $700. Others might be slightly different. I ended up getting slightly under that (invoice + $600) by cross-shopping dealers.

I'm not sure about Acura's corporate program but my firm participates in the above mentioned VPP with Nissan/Infinity. I remember I called them to find out what the price would be and as far as I remember they quoted me invoice price + 2%. Not all cars were included, though. I think G35 Coupe, Maxima and Pathfinder were excluded (at that time).

Unfortunately, I don't think Honda has this type of program.
I work for a company that makes wiring harnesses for Honda and we get nothing

Oh yeah, of course sometimes companies have deals going on with the local dealerships. Check with your HR department

Just got quoted a price on the tsx - $25,398 non navi. Not bad considering I never had to type one word in asking for a price. Just clicked a button and asked for a corporate quote.

IBM has a problem with about every other manufacturer of cars EXCEPT Honda/Acura ... I am so bummed about that.

But ... it is typically something based on invoice on the other problems with the percentage above (or below) varying based on contract with company. I know Ford has about 3-4 tiers ...

Dag Nabbitt!!! I gotta talk to our HR people. That's pretty cool. But I guess the question now is. . . what's in the fine print, if any?

I just received a quote of $27,799 for 6mt/navi with a coporate discount click of the mouse.

Unfortunately, the dealer is over 100 miles from me.

If that is an '05, I would take the drive.

It's an '05, but they don't have that configuration in stock.

They'll order one for me at that price, as well.

..... certainly it would be worth the drive....they even offered to deliver it to me knowing I'm that far away.

I found out my company has this program with a local Acura dealer, after I already bought my car, so I didn't even bother checking how much I could've saved.

I received corporate pricing quote of $28,560 for a 2005 5AT NAV. Basically $1,000 off of MSRP. The dealer is nearly 100 miles from me so I'm not sure if its worth the drive down since I have 2 Acura dealers closer. I have yet to get any quotes from either at this point. The dealer I test drove from didn't give me a quote as I stated I was still looking at several different cars before I decided which I would purchase.

This is a rip off regardless of the drive.

Yeah, I emailed them back letting them know in a polite and professional manner that the price wasn't worth the drive out since I felt I could get a similar deal from the two local dealers.

As far as I know - none. They may make the processing fee etc. mandatory but they haven't stated anything specific.

Well, corporate pricing for me turned out to be a dud. The dealer let me know that the info he received from the group I signed up with entitled me to a mere $50 off the "best internet price." It appears that in many instances "corporate pricing" is nothing more then BS marketing lingo.
