I live in the city so I do a lot of parallel parking. I try to take every precaution as to avoid hitting the curb and leaving plenty of space for people in front and rear of my car. Unfortunately, this morning, I woke up to find a nice 1 inch wide dent in my front spoiler and a 2 inch paint scratch to go with it.

I have a good idea who did it. There was a beatup SUV parked in front of me eariler and while they had plenty of space to get out, they somehow managed to bump into my car. Problem is I have no proof as I didn't see it happen and the SUV is no longer there. But where the dent is, matches up with the tow knob they have as I recall. I do see the SUV parked around the neighborhood at times so I could possibly wait for the owner.

But do cops even respond to these types of complaints? It's not an "accident" or a fender bender.

I'm so pissed. The only thing I want to do now is to flatten their tires the next time I see them.
