Complimented by tire installer.

Got my winter tires mounted on some oem rims i got on ebay. The owners of the shop complimented me on my 05 navi, saying something like "acura really makes a nice car..." and was intrigued by the navi screen.

i think thats why it took 45 minutes in the service bay to do the job...

Thought i'd share

Yeah, I got the same thing when I had an alignment done after my 1" drop. It was the first one this place had seen, though, the comment wasn't about the navi since I'm non-navi. These guys just like the looks.

Thats cool guys. Everyone that I know who has not seen the NBP TSX is always like HOLY crap nice car etc. I think its funny and just say thanks as they go on and on. Most dont know much about cars but think it looks great and have no idea what it is. I was getting out of my car once (week old) and some guy on the street near my old house was like "nice car" haha. Lets face it,.....our car is sweet.

Thank you.
The picture was taken by one of our SoCal members at a TSX meet.

I received my 3rd "It's a cute car" comment today.

Better than nothing I suppose.

The kids at the local pizza shop near my office are always commenting on how "sweet" my NBP '04 is. When they ask if I've done anything to it and I tell them, I get hot-rodder points, too. But, mostly, they just think it's a sweet-looking car. Which it is.

I went to Dixieline (a local San Diego home center) and bought a bunch of wood trim pieces for my house. They have a drive-thru lumberyard and when I drove my TSX into the yard several of the guys there gathered around my car. When they found out I was getting trim, they asked how I was going to get it into the car. I dropped the smaller of the rear seatbacks and in the trim went without a problem. When they saw the Navi, they all wanted to see how it worked. I used the voice activation to search for Mexican restaurants and everyone wanted my car!

I agree, we all have one of the coolest of all cars.

Actually if you hop on ebay you can get the Tein springs for like CDN$130 + other fees. I'm still waiting to see how high the '06 I'm getting is but if it's anything like the previous ones it'll need some lowering. It's another reason why I was contemplating going with the TL instead.

Do a search for "tsx tein" on ebay.
