clutch restrictor valve?
I was talking with my alignment guy about how I'm having a tough time getting used to the TSX clutch, and he said he's heard there could be some kind of restrictor valve in the mechanism somewhere. He wasn't sure about this so I figured I'd throw the question out here.
The Mitsubishi Evo had such a valve, just don't remember where, but its intent was to provide a smoother take up by restricting the flow of fluid in the mechanism to help save the clutch if it was dumped. Sorry for being so vague. When I had it taken out of my Evo, the clutch had better feel and was more consistent in operation. So I'm really curious if such a valve is in the TSX as well.

still plays with cars
Probably not a valve but a flow restrictor. And I don't know where it is but a close examination of the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder might turn something up.
Most of my problem with the 6 speed is the durned DBW throttle which has enough delay to be annoying.
Late C4 Corvettes have the restrictor in the slave cylinder.
