clutch adjustment

Hi, I searched but couldn't really find anything that I was looking for. I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the clutch to my preference in terms of release point/friction point and how much travel there is. Any suggestions, pointers, insight, etc. would be helpful. Thanks!

I believe there is some adjustabilty but having not messed with it on the TSX, I can't say for sure. The way it's been accomplished in other Hondas I've owned is by a bolt with lock nut on it on the pedal itself. The end of the bolt is what contacts the end of the piston on the master cylider. Basically it just moves the friction point up and down in the pedal travel.

To get to it, you need to pull the black plastic piece out above the pedals. Pull the front of it (the end facing the back of the car) straight down, it's held in by friction clips. Then pull the whole piece out towards you. The back has couple plastic pegs that stick into some rubber grommets. It's pretty simple.

hmm i see. Thanks, LukeaTron, I'll check it out!

oh btw, will this in any way, mess up the transmission and/or clutch? I think I read some where on either these forums or another that it was bad.

As long you don't move the engagement point so far from the middle that the clutch either doesn't disengage all the way or that there's no free play when it's out all the way, you should be fine.
