Exclamation Close to closing deal

Just had someone buy my 2001 Infiniti QX4. Great SUV, awful on gas of course. Love the TSX !! Was looking for some feedback from current owners prior to signing on the dotted line.

1. Has anyone heard whether or not recent production batches are void of the multiple rattle problems?

2. Should I buy now or wait until mid October. Something I read on a thread (poet) about pure 2004s? What's that mean?

3. Looking more for the classy look, has anyone added the wood kit to a non nav interior without mp3 player? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

4. Wondering if my negotiated deal is good. Car +woodkit +foglights +winter mats +tint +freight/pdi $35,784 CDN or for you US owners $25,765 US. Oh yeah, and they also pick up the first two scheduled services.

Thanks

Just to let you know, I got my car 4 weeks ago... I did not get any rattles watsoever...

As for the Pure 2004s, I really doubt that Acura would come out with another 04 model for the TSX... I hope not cause they would get a ton of people pissed off (everyone who bought the TSX before the new model)... I don't think Acura needs a new model to sell more TSX... IT's already a good seller...

The 2 first maintenance are always free (it's an Acura Canada policy, not a dealer policy).

Best Regards

Thanks for the info. I've never owned an Acura before and was unaware of the maintenance policy.

I have an annoying rattle in my sunroof cover. Otherwise, 100% rattle free. Bought the car a month after the TSX hit the market, and I have 3,000 miles on it.

I think that's a great deal! My dealer near the Philly area would not negotiate for a deal. I had to pay full sticker price for mine and there were no accessories included.

I think it's a great deal too.

We haven't gotten any impression on here whether the later purchases are less likely to have rattles, except maybe to the extent that people might not notice rattles until they've had the car longer. I've been very lucky -- I've had the car since April, and NO RATTLES. But you should be prepared that the car might very well have rattles.

About "pure '04," we don't have any reason to think that. Sounds like you might be referring to a post by Moreace (I think he'd love "poet"). Moreace is fairly brilliant (he'll probably feel slighted if he sees that), but he tosses out a lot of seat-of-the-pants ideas for the heck of it; also it's hard to tell when he's serious and when he's just being ....... uh, provocative.
