In Las Vegas, LO is the only setting reasonable in the summer for trips under 20 min.
After that, I usually set mine for 70-73 degrees.
Sometimes I wonder why my Acura takes what seems like a long time to really cool down. The way I set my AC up, I never see the AC ON illuminate on the display...but I know its workiing.
