Cleaning Injen SP1431 w/ Pro-Tech Charger Kit

Injen's website states that their Pro-Tech Charger Kit is for the RS, RD, and E series. Does that mean I wouldn't be able to use it on my SP1431? Don't the RD and SP models use the same filter? What do most of you guys use to clean your Injen intakes?

So I'm assuming no one cleans the filter on their Injen CAIs?

RD and SP differences are in the pipe. They should use the same type of filter material and therefore can use the same cleaning kit.

I think I rather buy a new filter than waste my time cleaning it.

Cleaning is fairly simple and costs only $10 for the kit vs. buying a brand new Injen filter for $50. Filters are reusable if cleaned/oiled correctly so why not.

It takes longer to get to it then to actualy clean it.

I just use the K&N filter charger kit since I had a few kits left over from when I had a K&N on my old truck. Works just fine on the Injen.
