That's the ticket alright. It's a small container, but it will last a long time. I barely used any. However, I think it was only $7 or so at Wal-Mart.

That's the stuff. Though you can get it at your local Pep Boys or any normal parts store for about $7.

Just keep in mind its a waste of this stuff if your rims are clear coated...

Mother's Mag - not a problem?

The Mother's Mag says that it is not for use on chrome. Is this not a problem? You guys are not afraid to use it anyway? I am no detail expert so I usually follow directions and would usually avoid using it but it sounds like it is working great.

I've used Mother's on chrome for years. I've polished the same piece of chrome literally hundreds of time with no dulling or scratching. I wouldn't worry about it.

Tell me about it! I figured the exhaust tips were a lost cause, since I would scrub them to no end each time I washed my car. In the before picture, whatever you see there is junk that would not come off after a good soapy scrub. It's as though the chrome was stained. However, as you can see, the Mother's took it right off... and restored my faith in the chrome exhaust tips

Amazing how two bright & shiny chrome exhaust tips can restore faith and bring happiness into the hearts of many!

A moment of silence please...
