Cleaned my parchment leather... now looks shiny, how do I un-shine it?
Hi all. I noticed my driver seat was a little shiny compared to the passenger and rear seats. I thought it was dirty so I bought some spray-on Meguirs Cleaner/Conditioner sprayed it on and buffed it out. I also did the passenger side seat just to even it out.
Now the driver seat still looks shiny and the passenger seat is a little shiny too.. the rear seats werent cleaned but look nice and dry.
Also, the driver seat sounds kinda rubbery when I get in and out... how do I give it the matte finish look that the leather should have? Should I use a damp cloth to wipe off any excess cleaner?
What products do you guys use to make it look matte finish. I hate shiny leather.
spanks for any info

i dont even know if the TSX is even real leather.
On the TSX leather, for a quick clean and condition I use the meguiars and yes its a lil shiny. When I do a deep clean I use Lexol cleaner along with Duragloss leather conditioner. Even the Duragloss has a shine to it. I did notice that the TSX leather(or pleather) is alot more durable than my 2001 TLs.

All the parts you sit on are real leather. On the sides of the seat it's vinyl. Search the site for "poke test" if you want about information about your seats than you ever wanted to know.
+1 on the Lexol conditioner. Completely matte finish and it smells like new leather. Coincidentally I just put some on my motorcycle jacket and it looks and feels brand new again.
