I got this notification in the mail last week. It has to do with the odometer reading more miles than what has been actually driven. Basically, the settlement extends warranties by 5%. Honda will reimburse you for excess mileage charges, repairs made during the extended mileage period and will increase the mileage limits of current leases by 5%.

This is only the proposed settlement and the courts will have to approve it.

Mileage plays a huge part what we would get in trade-ins/private sales of our car, or at least what Kelly Blue Book states we should get too.

This is really shady on the Honda bean counters part if this were in fact intentional.
