Civic owner has some questions

I am really in love with a new TSX, but unfortunately I can not afford it at this point. I will be looking to replace my 99’ coupe ex 5speed civic sometimes next year around this time (income tax return ). My question is how people like TSX? How many people have moved from low end cars like civic to TSX – how does it compare? Most likely if I will decide on TSX, it will be without Navi – what features am I going to loose when picking TSX without navi (definitely I am going for 6 speed thought )? Size wise is TSX much bigger compared to Civic 4-door? I know that civic has only 127 hp and TSX 200hp, but weight difference etc, how is the power? Will I notice a significant power difference? I have driven my friends 5speed Maxima (not sure about the year 00 or 01 but the one with 222hp and I was impressed) Will TSX impress me also or will it be more like Accord i4 ? Looking at the demands and popularity, do you think if I will be able to find ’05 non-Novi 6speed for $25k or less plus taxes etc in the next year or so?
Thanks

Hi noob. Might I suggest the "SEARCH" button.

But to answer a few of your questions, the only thing you'll miss by not getting the Navi is everything that comes with the Navi. The car will definitely feel better than a Civic and is definitely a size larger, though not as large or ponderous as the NA Accord. As for as price, that's dependent on your willingness to search and your negotiating skills.

So, for the rest of your answers, "SEARCH" away.

And welcome to the forums.

I have a 99 civic ex coupe and my tsx is noticably larger. MUCH MORE POWER!!! A civic does 0-60 in about 11.2 MINUTES and the TSX does 0-60 in about 8 seconds. The TSX doesn't have to work nearly as hard as a civic. I don't think you will be able to get an 05 tsx w/ navi for under $25. You probably could get an 04 tsx for that price after the 05 comes out. I look at the civic as a piece of sh*t now. The civic is a work horse but it has no power no features and is 1/3 the car the TSX is.

I hope this helps.

get a TSX man.

this is my personal opinion, but i've never really liked the Civic, except the Si versions.

i've always loved the Accord, except for the newest one, so i decided to buy the Euro/Jdm 7th gen Accord/TSX instead.

I got my TSX in Janurary & I still have my '99 Civic Si. My wife now drives the Si if that tells you anything. I love my TSX & haven't regretted purchasing it at all.
