Chances of decent financing....

Anyway I can tell when Acura will run 2.9% financing or a good lease special on the TSX? I know its doing the RSX right now since its changing the body style a little bit. But, the 2005 RSX and 2004 MDX have a good lease/purchase plan right now. They changed the financing last on Sept. 7th, so I figured they'd run new stuff today, but nothing..... Anybody know or have a good guess?

I doubt they'll do much. They don't have much TSX inventory at any of my local dealers and seem to be moving the cars just fine, so no need for special incentives at this time. Individual dealers are more willing to negotiate with their end-of-year stock, but that's about it.

If you have good credit, CapitalOne auto may be able to give you a rate under 4%. We got about three and half through Costco and CapitalOne's agreement.

Also check out local credit unions, etc...they tend to have the best rates. There are also several websites which will tell you who is offering the best rates in your area.

One thing, however, don't tell your salesman that you are not financing through Acura until after the price is agreed to. The dealers get more money when you finance through them, so they may not give you as good of a deal if they find out you are not planning on financing through them.
