I'm looking for a used TSX, and have come accross a couple that are for sale from private owners who bought them "Certified" from Acura dealers. The regular bumper to bumper warranty was extended for 1 year/12K miles over the 4 year/50K mile warranty and the powertrain warranty is 7 years/100K miles from original date of service. This sounds like a great deal if the "Certified" warranty would transfer to me. What do you think? Thanks!

I believe that it does. Check www.acura.com in the certified pre-owned section to make sure.

My local dealer told me I had to call Acura to transfer the warranty, and the guy I spoke to at Acura USA barely knew what a Certified car is. I think they mostly deal with new car issues.
