How do you remove that black moulding that houses the blue light beneath the radio/hvac controls? Mine is making this creaking type noise and i want to insulate it from behind but dont see how it can be removed. Thanks.

 

Have you tried tugging firmly? That seems to be the way to yank out the center compartments. Haven't tried it, wouldn't suggest it unless it's someone elses car (not mine), but it might work.
