Hi Guys,

I wanted to know if Acura plans to introduce the Nagivation System (as an option) in 2004 or we will have to wait longer. I know that the mapping software was not fully ready for Canada, but I assume they are planning to offer the option next year, well I hope.

I believe the new TL will have navigation, so the TSX will probably get it the 2005 model.

But if you have one already, what good would having it NOW? Unless you're one of those electronic gurus, then I guess you could buy parts and install yourself....

As far as funtionality goes, it also depends on where in Canada you live...I'm in Saskatchewan, and from what I've been told Saskatchewan and Manitoba still haven't been mapped for Navigation yet.

If your looking for a navigation system for TSX try the iQue 3600. Not only does it have Canadian street maps, it integrates well with the TSX and will save $1K+!!!

Do you have any pictures of it installed in the TSX? Be curious to see where it would fit nice. Don't have either one (TSX/iQue) yet

My Dad has one that he moves between his TL and SLK. They have a beanbag cradle that just sits on the dash and is portable between cars. It's not the most eligant solution, but you can get a remote antenna for the iQue that will allow you to permenently mount it anywhere in the car. I don't have my TSX yet but when I do I'll try to find a good mounting spot for it.
