i was wondering if i can get the security code for free? i guess when i bought the car (private sale) they did not include the code with the manual... i accidentally half way started the car last night but didnt wait for it to fully start and let go... then i just turned the key again real fast and it started it..then the message came up... thanks for any help

 

You should be able to find the codes on a sticker in your glove box. Should be stuck to the side that's facing you when you open it from the driver's seat.

 

should be able to get it from the dealer too. you have to have the vin and and prolly all the registration, insurance, etc.
