Bye to my 2008 TSX...

As it states, we were looking for something with some ground clearence and a smooth ride to replace the duties of two previous vehicles.
What did we get?
2004 CPO Lexus RX330 w/53K miles, 1 owner
The color is Dark Grey with a black interior. I've had three Acura's and even sat in an MDX. I thought the MDX would be considerably bigger, yet it really wasn't. The RX doesn't have the third row seat, but that's about it. The drivers side doesn't go back as far as the RX and since I'm 6'2", that was a bit of a turnoff.
I must say, even though the Lexus is 6 years old, it drives more solid and the leather looks better than my TSX's. I took care of the leather in my TSX as well. There is no wind noise and considerably less road noise than the TSX. It drives smoother but obviously doesn't handle like the TSX. I got 24mpg on the way home and look forward to the change.
Overall, I'm looking forward to the vehicle (SUV, truck, crossover...not sure). I hope the reliability is there like Consumer Reports says. Atleast it comes with a 3/100 mile CPO warranty just in case.
Wish me luck and let me know if anyone has any questions. Thanks for all your help over the past 7 years of Acura ownership.

best of luck to you. My sister-in-law and her husband are big fan of lexus. Never owned anything from Toyota-nothing ever appealed to me. I love my 06 tsx-no problems-leather still looks excellent.
good luck with your new ride. It looks like you do your research. I really like the MDXs. Ill be getting my wife one next year. I personally liked the 3 row seating and the design as a whole. They are quite pricey @ around $40k for something decent with low miles, but if you look around long enough you find a deal.
The Lexus is a great choice. My cousin and 3 close friends have the RX version (300-350) and it's a great ride, comfort etc. 1 friend changed from the 08 RDX to it and my gf is going from the X5 to the 400h since she used to have the 350 and says the X5 can't compare. The MDX is nice but I would've gone with the RX over it as well. GL to you and I'm sure you'll still have a good time
Their leather is a lot nicer than in our TSX's unfortunately. No one I know has had probs with their RX either so you should be in good hands as long as the previous owners did basic maintenance.

I have two friends with RX350's. They like them well enough, with the space afforded by the SUV size and layout. The only thing both have reported as dislikes is the less than stellar gas mileage, particularly around town.
I have had a chance to drive and ride in them, and if I were in need of that kind of space and the all wheel drive, I might consider it. (Actually, I'd be more inclined to get an SUV that can go offroad.) Fortunately, I don't need any of that, so thus I don't have to sacrifice the nimble handling of a car, especially that of the TSX.
Good luck with your new ride!
