Bye Bye Tsx :(
Today Jun 21, 2007 at 7:10 AM my sister was on her way to work as usual and BOOM the worst that can happen to anyone happen to her a freaking accident. Long story short, she was driving on the main street which was a two lane road in front of her the right line was blocked by a trailer truck so as she got closer to the intersection she saw this car which wanted to cross the street without looking, since everythying happen so quick my sister tryed to avoid it but it was too late N she got hit on her back passerger door "see pic" which caused her to lost control of the car. Trying to regain control of the car my sister ended up on top of the side walk hit a pole and a bus stop. Airbags deploy side curtains and both of the front ones. Luckely for her the TSX guard her like a good body guard and she walked away without any major injuries . I posted pictures from the accident and some pictures when we first got it. The insurance tatalled the car and they are giving us 25,000 back when own 20,000 so i think is a good deal. No word yet if we're going to stay in the Acura family or something else. By the way the car has only 20000 miles and it is almost two years old.
PS. I didnt get to post that many things on here since i joined recently but even though everyone here was really nice to me. THANKS guys. I'll keep you guys updated on the situation.
Now the pics:
Back when we first got it.......

Dang, sorry to hear about what happenned. That is really too bad. I'm glad to hear that you sis is alright
See how much the insurance wants if you were to buy back the totaled car. Sometimes they will let you buy it back for as little as $500. If they give that option, I would do that and sell the Navi, ECU, and maybe even the engine if it's in good enough shape. Good luck!

Thank God your sister is ok and in the end it turned out ok because now you have $5000 from the insurance which will make a great downpayment on a new car.

I'm glad your sis is doing OK.
The safety rating of the TSX was part of my top 5 list for purchasing the car.
At the end of the day, the TSX is just a car and you can purchase another one. Losing a sister is forever.

wow, glad your sister was not hurt. I guess you don't need to do the fog mod now.
Get an 07, they are offering 1.9 financing if you got good credit. Sorry we did not meet, but hopefully you will get a new one.

it's a car-drive it
glad to hear your sister is ok. My daughter owns a hyundai. she was on her way to work on Route 9 in Freehold, NJ. She was doing the speed limit (55) when another driver made an illegal left turn in front of my daughter. She could not stop, hitting that car. the other driver (in a newer lexus) took off. luckily my daughter was not hurt but her car has almost $5,000 in damage. Hyundai's might be lousy but it handled the accident well. I guess they are also built like tanks. My daughter told me the driver look like a teenage driver. the road has big signs-NO LEFT TURNS-they have the famous jersey jughandles

You'll forever wonder why it creaks and rattles, pulls to one side, clonks when you accelerate...
Trust me, the write-off is the best option! to that TSX, and get a nice deal on a 2007!
