Buying new '04 - need advice
I'm ready to buy a new '04 TSX (no navi). There are a couple of dealerships in my area (Atlanta) that have 2004's still on the lot. Can anyone tell me what I can expect to pay for one now that the '06's are almost out? This is the first time I've bought brand new. Thanks!

True... but thats really surprising. I think you can expect a few $k less then what we are paying for 05's (check the thread with all the prices) but not much.
Other then XM and a power passenger seat they didn't make many changes in 05 so I doubt you can get a big break. Dealer's pretty much know they will be able to sell even the 04's. TSX's are hot. Expect like a $2k drop is my guess but thats just a guess. It would obviously depend on the dealer.
EDIT: Obviously 2k plus the price increase in MSRP from 04-05. I think it was like $600?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Call me crazy, but there's something wrong if they have new (as in not registered/titled) 2004 cars on the ground.
A few things come to mind:
Why did they never sell these cars before (or immediately after) the 2005 cars arrived?
The should have written them down below invoice and moved them out. The dealer loses holdback on cars they don't move by manufacturer-specified dates.
If these cars have been on the lot for nearly 9 months to a year, have they changed the oil?
Oil life is shot on the K-series if it sits still for that long. Though the first oil change is due at 12 months/10k miles, it is recommended if the car actually gets used.
How many miles do the cars have?
Once a car is past 7k miles, American Honda will NOT give the car the full 4/50 warranty. This is why dealers will try not to use demos past 6k miles to play it safe. Selling them is harder when you have to disclose that the warranty isn't completely covering the car.
Are the tires dry-rotted from lack of use?
There is such a thing is not enough use. Having the tires sit still that long can help develop flat-spotting.
These should be things you should have them address before you purchase one of these existing 2004 models. If they have been titled or registered in any way, they are no longer new. Find this stuff out. All of it.
Before you think about flaming me, know this:
I have over 4 years experience for American Honda Motor Company. I have worked at nearly every position at dealer level for Honda and Acura dealers (2 of each). I have worked in sales (floor and management), F&I (so I know warranties), and service (advisor, management, and multiple technical certifications).

If you want, i can hook you up with a good price with an Atlanta area dealer. The pricing is not too competitive in the Atlanta area. Trust me, i tried when i went in to buy mine.
However, the price that i can probably get you, is the best out of all the Atlanta dealerships.
