Anybody already have a build date for your 06? My dealer said I will have a date within a week. I'm just trying to estimate when that date will be.

Well, actually I was asking if anyone had confirmed build dates for their personal '06 TSX on order. Not when they started production of the '06.

I was told by my boss they will be released mid December. My boss = owner of Hillside Acura in Bay Shore NY.

 

I guess my original point of this thread was to have people who have ordered an '06 to list their build date. I've ordered mine, but still don't have a build date. Supposedly I will know by next Friday.

 

I don't have my build date either. The dealer told me it is going to be built sometime in November.

 

i just hope they get here in canadian dealership around may, that's when it stops snowing (hopefully) and that's when i get it i can't wait!

 

My production date is Oct 27 as well. Dealer said it could be in as early as Nov 15 but might be later on in the Nov. Keeping fingers crossed that it is for real!

 

what are you getting? Nav or without nav? How much do you pay for?

 

I am getting navi carbon gray/Quartz. The price has not been negotiated, still no MSRP available.

 

Just got my build date of Dec 10th. Which means about Jan 10th when I get it. Man that is going to be a long wait.

 

Taf: You mentioned that you just received your build date? Will your TSX be a Navi or non-Navi TSX, and do you know if this affects when the various models will come in?

I've been waiting on the '06 TSX for about two months now, and the idea of its taking longer and LONGER to get here is just depressing. I'm just looking for a 5AT Glacier Blue (old Meteor Silver) non-Navi, and several dealers I've talked to in the DC/Metro area have no clue as to when they'll receive this car.

I don't know the exact date my 06 with navi will arrive, but it will be in the first shipment to the dealer, so having navi won't delay it's arrival.

Mine was ordered with NAVI, but I don't think it makes a difference as to when you get the car. What I was told is that the dealer gets allocations every 2-3 weeks which is when they pick what they want. About a week after that you get a estimated production date. I will get an estimated arrival date when the car gets to port in the US.

 

Well, I just got notified by my dealer that my production date has been moved up to November 25th!

 

I ordered in August and have a build date of Oct. 28 last I heard. I may call the dealer tomorrow and see if that has changed.

 

My 06 build date was 10/21. Anyone knows how long does it take to get here?

I talked to my salesman today. He thought that he would have some info on Monday. I'm not sure if it is info just about my TSX or the TSX in general. I will pass it on, on Monday.

My salesman called and left a message saying I would have my car by Nov 15th. I did't get to talk with him so I don't know any other details. I have friends that unload the cars off the ship and they tell me it takes 4-5 days for the ship to cross the Pacific, I'll have them call me when they see the TSXs arrive.

 

Congrats and Yikes. I head off on a two week vacation on the 17th. It would yank my chain a little that my TSX arrived within a day or two of me leaving. At least it would be ready for me when I got home.

Isn't the Canadian release date November 16th? If it is I would expect cars to show up soon. Isn't the US release date a week earlier than ours?

Between my wife and I we've bought about 50 cars and I'm still like a kid at Christmas whenever I get a new one. Hopefully you'll see yours before you go on vacation.

 

My dealer tells me that he will be able to give me some info on Monday, so perhaps I will know then about it's arrival. Edmonton is probably a two day truck ride away from Vancouver so likely mine will arrive a couple days after yours, assuming that they are on the same boat.

This will only be my 13th car, so you have had a few more Christmases than me, but I know exactly what you mean.

I talked to my dealer today. It looks like my 06 TSX is suppose to arrive on December 10th. I was hoping that it might arrive a week sooner but that is okay. (I am also mentally prepared for a later arrival date) As the 10th is a Saturday I hope it arrives a couple days earlier so I can pick it up on the 10th instead of suffering through the weekend and not getting it until Monday or Tuesday. I'm getting the rust proofing, leather/paint protection, clear bra and remote starter which will take a day or two to do, not counting any prep that the dealer does.
I would also like to have a whole day to play with it to learn all the neat things about the TSX before showing it off.

Winter will be well in place on it's arrival so I will get to test out the heated seats right away.

mine said that it shoudl around mid november!!! haha..i haven't spoken to him ever since I told him that I want them to hold my deposit and go for an 06 instead of the 05.
