All I need to cross the border is a passport right? ...Never crossed the border on my own before.
If you have your passport you should not have any problems at all. I dont have mine,.......so I am going to use my birth cirtificate (hope I can find that) and my drivers license (other photo ID). You have your drivers license with you anyway VB87,.......so that and a passport should be more than enough. I have never crossed on my own either,....shouldnt be a problem though.

This Saturday

At least you know about it when most things are finalized. No one knew which weekend is day and where to meet earlier.

What could you possibly be doing saturday that is more impt than a meet.

If your car is busted you can catch a ride with me if you want.

So getting back on topic...

Let's get a schedule of events together. Based on earlier posts, this is the suggestion:

2pm - meet somewhere in Buffalo
6pm - head to HSBC Arena (HSBC = Hot Sauce & Blue Cheese )
7pm - attend Sabres game

Anyone got any input?

I'm wondering if anyone's interested in possibly making a side trip to Ray Lak's Acura (AKA Hondacuraworld.com) in West Seneca? I purchased my skirt kit from them last May for a great price, and I'm contemplating purchasing some parts this weekend too. Anyone else interested? Unfortunately they're only open until 12pm on Saturdays so we'd have to head there pretty early.

That would be cool. I guess we could meet at like 11 at hondaacuraworld maybe. then we could go to buffalo wild wings. then we could go to the game. I wonder if we could stil get tickets at the door cause otherwise it will be hard to get tickets together.

That sounds like a good plan,..sounds good to me. Any conflicts or problems with that? I am going to have to start PM'ing ppl to see if they can make it or not.

Hey Ryanhook, sorry for my ignorance, but is that dealership in Buffalo? I would be willing to go early with you if its only you and me heading towards the boarder. If there are a bunch of ppl coming from TO/hamilton/guelph etc,.....then no, cause we are going to drive down together I think.

You mean, I'll be able to make it NO MATTER WHAT,.........................good to hear.

Lucky,.........My car got rained on hard. I know it is covered with water spots,......I cant look. Maybe in the morning I will have enough time to quickly go over it with QD,..hmmmm. I am going to be out all day tomorrow (today since its after 12) and it will look dirty,.......I hate having a dirty car. I also found a nice scratch on my front quarter panel,....SO MAD,.......it looks bad but I think I will be able to get it buffed out in the spring time. Poor victoria all scratched up.

It's very close.

Let me know if anyone's interested ASAP. I'm probably going to call them tomorrow to make sure they've got the parts I want.

P.S. I guess I can show off my Icelink and my newly purchased 350Z cargo net for my TSX.

Maybe HondaAcuraWorld since it might close early. Then to the wing place, then to the hockey game.

I don't think I'll be going to the game though. Is it beer that's really cheap in the states compare to Canada?

So you are cool with going early to or whatever with ryanhook? If it is just the three of us then we should all meet up and head down together. If anyone from TO is coming they can come too I guess,........meet at that place before food/car talk/looked/game (for whoever is going to see it,......im a maybe).

Ok,......time for bed for me,.....I am EXHAUSTED and gotta get up early tomorrow,.WHY . New oil in the car etc,.....car feels a bit different though. Something feels a bit off,.......just slightly,......will keep a close eye/feel on it. I am probably making no sense cause I am SO tired,............ok bed.

I'm definitely good to go early. West6MT, I'll PM you my cell phone number just so you've got it on-hand. I'm going to call the guys at hondacuraworld.com tomorrow to see if they've got the parts I want — because if they don't, there's no point in going early. Anyone else thinking of meeting us there should take a look at their site. OEM parts and accessories at decent prices.

Can someone confirm the address of the wings place?

As for the Sabres game, I too am going to have to pass (as much as I want to go to my first NHL game). My girlfriend and I have plans for the evening.

Any regular border-crossers have any info on whether you have to declare stuff like iPods, Palm PDAs, cameras, etc. before you cross the border? I recall having to do that back in the day.

Finally, how many of you have an FRS? When I used to go on cruises with my friends in the Civic club, we used to keep in contact using FRS radios. I've got a simple Motorola unit myself.

so have we picked a time and a place to meet cause I have just as long of a drive from Rochester to buffalo as you guys do I believe. what is it an hour and a half for your guys. I have an hour an ten minute drive. probably wont take that long with my lead foot as long as my radar detector gets here.
