Broken Passenger Side Mirror
So I haven't been on the forum for a while, but thats because I love longer drive my sister's 06 tsx, as I did when she went to college. ( I got my own 07 nissan altima 3.5SE :-). Now to the story. My sister took her car to college this year (U of M ann arbor), and returned today only to upset me. She said there was a little problem with the car, and right away that frightened me, because in my family..I'm the one who loves our familys vehicles and takes care of them to the best of my ability. I went out to see that on the way home, she said she apparently hit some cones?, and broke the mirror off, including putting some crashes onto the front passenger door Heres some pics for you to see the damage. Does anybody know approximately how much it would cost for a new mirror/ having it painted. I feel like I could probably install it myself. Thank Youu

It's extremely easy and no need to paint, as it's pre-painted from factory.
After you take off the door panel and the side mirror (triangular) cover, remove the 3 nuts, disconnect the harness and it's off. Reverse to install.

HoRRo is right. They come pre-painted and its super easy to install. Check Del Ray Acura for a brand new mirror or maybe ebay for a used one.
I took my mirrors off when i blacked out the chrome trim around the windows so i could get the vinyl under the mirror and there would be no seam. Pop the black triangle off and take out the 3 nuts and the mirror comes right out. There is a black seal between the mirror and the car that might also be worth replacing. You could try to peel it off the old mirror and put it on the new one but it wont come off easily and you''ll likely ruin it taking it off. The bottom of the 3 nuts is the hardest to get off. A socket and driver wont fit between the door panel and the door, but I have ratchet style open ended wrenches and they worked pretty well.
