Brakes sound dried out every morning

Every time I get in my car after it's been sitting for a while (12+ hours) the brakes are noisy the first couple times i step on them. The only way I can describe it is that they sound dried up, and once I make a few stops they sound fine.

Anyone else experience this?? I've never had anything like it in any other car.

It's an 08 and it had it's 5k checkup about a month ago. And I definately don't abuse my brakes or drive too fast.

Normal on any car, especially when parked outdoors. I'm surprised your other cars haven't done the same.

Maybe I just wasn't so critical with my 1995 and 1992 ford explorers as I am with the 08 Ac hahahaha... Good to know its normal. Thanks guys.

I have the same exact issue! Is your sound a high pitch screech? I know it isn't normal, but I don't think the dealer would do anything about it!
