I just bought a certified 04 and everytime I drive the car, which is every day , I like it even more. Great car and what a great job by Honda/Acura...

I am not overly concerned but I thought I'd ask you guysa question: I hear a hissing sound when I press the brake pedal. Do you guys also have this...? I didn't call the dealer yet. I thought I would talk to the experts first...

Not sure if I hear sound when I press the brake pedal. Maybe someone else will chime in. If you feel like you have to press the brake pedal down harder than normal to stop, I'd get it checked out.

 

I have that sound too. I went to the dealer, and according to them, is normal.

i think i should go to get a second opinion.... that sound is driving me nuts.

It's the infamous brake pedal hissing sound when applying brakes. I think I hear it a bit on mine too... doesn't feel too abnormal to me, brakes feel strong and steady.
