Bought Used TSX DVD Drive Missing Nav/Fan Works?

I recently bought a used 2004 TSX at the auction. It has the Navigation system. When I first inspected it, the screen was working, but said DVD was missing, and ac control was working. When I picked up the car from the lot, the screen did not turned on at all, I popped the trunk, and the DVD driver was missing. Would the missing DVD cause the monitor not to turn on at all? Thanks

If they yanked the DVD drive between the auction and you picking up the car, I think you have a right to demand they replace it. Those things go for $400 used and I think someone at the auction tried to screw you over. A new disk/DVD on the other hand is easy to pick up cheap.

Completely agree with this. Your bid price was based upon a working NAV unit...at least to the extent of the screen functioning as it was when you inspected it. They need to either refund you some money or replace the DVD drive.
