Ditto to the whole "proper adjustment" posts.
The way I was instructed to adjust the driver's side mirror (by a person that knows his stuff) was to rest your head against the window, then adjust it the way you're used to doing it. Then of course when you move your head back to center, it's adjusted properly. Then just make the angle of the passenger side the same.
