Best price for TSX. HELP!!!

What's up ya'll!

I'm new to this site & first time post (never been a member of any kind of forum).

Question for you all...

I am looking at trading my TL for a TSX....

I was wondering what is the current market going for as far as $$$ of MSRP these days for both NAV & non-NAV?

I live in SoCAL so any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

You can also do a search on this forum using the button located in the upper right hand corner of the page. The lowest I've seen is $2300 off MSRP, $2000 off MSRP can be had with some work, $1500 off MSRP is getting more common. Of course this also depends on where you live. Welcome to the site and good luck with your search. Let us know what you find.

Best Price

I can tell you this. It is all about supply and demand. 15,000 were made and 18,000 have already sold, so that just tells you how hot they are. Best price. I have recently purchased a 6 speed with Navi for 1,000 over invoice and I live in CT. I wouldn't pay any more than that for it. The total price came out to 27,315.00

Hey Mr. TL, while the 4 in the TSX doesn't really feel like a 4, you might want to check out the new TL. It's just hard for me to believe all these TL owners/V6 drivers interested in downgrading to the TSX. Sure it's a great car/value, nonetheless it still is taking a step back.

If you look at Honda's sales reports the average TSX monthly sales numbers are somewhere around 2,000 units. Their original GOAL was to sell 15,000 per year but the've alrady blown right past that number. I think annual sales will be around 25,000 and they will keep producing that many until they saturate the market segment and sales (without factory rebates) start to lag.

I bought mine (no nav.) for $25,700 plus tax & lic. I also paid $1300 for the extended Acura Warranty. I think I got a pretty good deal, but I am sure that the people here will let me now if that is the case. I wanted the car in carbon grey/ebony, and there were only 3 in sothern CA, so i didnt have as much haggle room as I would have if I was buying another color.

--- Actually, I am trading my 04 TL for a TSX. Financial reasons. Don't ask....

I was exploring the TSX, A4, 325, IS300 initially, and after test driving the 04 TL, I ended up getting it....

Hi guys. I'm new here too and I went to 2 dealerships last night. They were offering around $25,500 (base price) for a manual trans/no nav. I still don't like that price, I'm still gunning for $500 less but it seems like they won't budge due to huge demand. What do you guys think. thanks

i think you should get 3,000 off ther MSRP or walk away, go dealership to dealership,,, also you dont need the extended warrenty for an extra 1500$ Acura is veru reliable, if anything goes wrong it will happen within the standard warrenty

$3000??? Wow, thats even below the invoice price. Hmmmm...I think thats way too low. Has anyone gotten that low? It seems $26000-$25500 is pretty much what a lot of folks here paid for theirs (no nav/6 speed). Maybe I will ask for $3000 off, kinda like "shock and awe " type of negotiations.

I just bought a blue TSX and i canvassed the area aound where I live for deals via the internet. I think its really an effective way to shop. Most of the salesmen contacted me within a day or so and I was able to elicit offers from multiple dealerships.

I ended up with 28k + protection package for free for a navi tsx.

Well, I can't say figure the exact deal I got (haven't seen the paperwork yet, but I either got a nice deal on the price or on the money factor (lease)

After running numbers for weeks, based on tmv from edmunds, carsdirect pricing, calcs at leasecompare.com and acura.com
I wanted:
800 cap cost red,
350 security, mv fees etc,
for 339+tax/48mo for AT no-nav
(~1500 +tax, doc fees oop @sign)

I got 1200 oop (595 bank fee, 1st month, ~200 in doc fees) @ 335+tax/42mo

so less out-of-pocket, less per month, shorter term.

I couldn't say no.

where did you get it....whats the dealer's name? How did you negotiate this?

Defintely the cheapest I have ever heard on a Navi car.

got this with a little luck and little work. started out with internet price quote/buying services msn cardirect autobuytell ect. sent out all my info then next day offers started coming in. two stuck out in my area clair and acura of boston (these guys are really hate each other) I kept getting a counter offer from each others great deal I got, what it came down to was clair had my car coming in today (picking up tonight) and boston I had to wait until the 15th. plus always shop last week of the month and this also happens to be end of quarter! so I bought from clair acura in walpole ma from warren newland the internet manager, tell him keith sent you and see what he can do (helps to have counter bids from another dealer) my car pwp auto(wife) navi w/protect pack 26500 with 500.00 down 15k mile year lease at 380(inlcuding tax) for 42 months

You did very well if you got one for more than $1,000 off in the DC/Baltimore metro area, which is one of Acura's largest markets (if not THE largest). Other areas where Acuras aren't as well sought after, you can probably do a bit better.

$3,000 off though? That guy's an idiot. Well, he's probably 14 years old and hasn't a clue.

I was able to get a CG automatic with navi for 26,750. I was not planning on buying a car until July, but I stopped in last Tuesday, and they had this car on the lot (I could only find 1 other one in Chicago and they would not budge of invoice), I was able to test drive it then was offered 1500 over invoice. I said thanks and that I will be in touch. The next day they called and offered 750 over invoice if I bought the car before Wednesday. I think that the end of the month/quarter had a lot to do with this deal. I would definately recommend waiting if they have the car.
