So how many people how there have de-badged there TSX?
Removing the Acura and TSX logo on the back.
What do people think, badge or de-badged looks better.
I about to pop mine off.

I have Debadged my TSX and love the look. Wish i had access to pics, but i am sure you can find plenty on this forum. I love how clean it looks as well as the symmetry.

I like badged on the tsx, debadging is only worth it to me if you have a M, AMG, S, or some other high performance model of a car that you wamt to keep a secret.

I like the de-badged look. I think it might be too late for my 04 TSX though. I'm afraid that if I de-badge now then the paint will look slightly different since it has aged almost 2 years. Oh well, badged isn't bad either.

rebadged to euroR.
i got stopped yesterday in freeway traffic
girl in BMW: "is that an accord?"
me: Yes, well, no, but yes.
girl: "what model is that? Where can I get one"
me: Japan.
girl: That sucks. Nice car though.
Then traffic started to move.
I say debadge to save yourself the constant questions.

When I debadged, it was very soon after taking delivery of the car and all i had to do was heat the badges up and slowly work the floss behind them. You may want to have somebody help you to make it go faster... just keep hitting the badge with heat and slowly pull the floss til it cuts throught the "glue."
Once i got it off, there was nothing else i needed to do... all of the "glue/gook" came right off just by rolling my fingers over it.
Good luck

When you ask a question like "should I debadge?" you'll get all the people who did it saying "yeah!" and the vast majority of the people who think it's stupid will be polite and not say anything or just not even give you the time of day for clicking on your thread. I, on the other hand, will say for the record that I think debadging is stupid, and rebadging as a Honda is even stupider.

I think that's what it says on the bottom of my rocket science degree in small print:
"all this means nothing because he liked the honda accord euroR more than the acura TSX and is therefore stupid".

Way to confuse people. But it's all good.
I did not debadge my car, but have been thinking about it because of the wax residue around the badges.

Done
I have de-badged. I posted this knowing I was going too. But posted because someone might have giving advice why I shouldn't (like against the law in 5 states and so on).
But it is done. I took the advice above with the blow dryier and dental floss. Worked great (take your time). The look is great.
My choice for de-badging was for waxing. I wax all my cars 3 times a year. I alway hated where the names are.
Plus it makes my car go faster
