Backup Camera

Let me help you!
No, you'd have to go to a shop that does audio/video. Your 07 TSX's navi will accomodate a backup camera, but your dealer won't be willing to "hack" into your wires and stuff. You can do it easily yourself (there's a guide). The hardest part is mounting the camera to your trunk, which is what is keeping me from doing it at the moment

First were is that thread on how to make the wiring harness?
I have an idea as to how to mount the camera. I was going to install it inside the trunk behind the license plate and drill a pinhole on the trunk lid and license plate for it to capture the image. On the inside you would not see it because it will be hidden by the trunk lid liner.
What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, this is a mod that the owner of the car has to perform. This is a fairly easy mod to do if you have the time, patience, and follow directions well. I have backup cam installed on my TSX and it's a great addition. My picture is in the modified TSX gallery. I'll try a copy and paste to see if it works.

All the info you'll need for this is in this thread in Audio & Video: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/backup-camera-diy-362179/
I'm going to close this down and ask that you take all further discussion and questions there, as that is the official, consolidated thread on doing the backup cam mod.
And for the future, if you're ever thinking of an audio or video mod (yes, backup cam counts as video), the place to look is the A&V forum! (https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/)
