speaking of the auto pedals, does anyone know of any aluminum add-on pedals for the auto TSX that are made yet?

No pics

nothing special or real custom
on my old POS:
I installed the red engine start button
Painted orange blinkers red
changed color of gauges
stupid little things

WHen I get a car I care about (TSX) u will see the good stuff

Although I was thinking about custom fabricating an incar computer w/ 8" touchscreen LCD into current car. Outline it and everything. Would play TV, MP3s, movies, have GPS, radio.............. FOr the $ and the crappyness of car I decided against it (total cost approx 2000 + man hours customizing)

that's ok, I will leave. I can see where I am not wanted. To think that Larch turned against me is what really hurts. That is just a blow to the heart right there. I thought we had something special. I even defended you on clubtsx. I will keep all my custom work myself. It is enough as long as I enjoy it. May your cars get keyed and suffer from bad gas mileage.

Mo, Mo, MO! I WAS KIDDING! NO S**T, KIDDING!!!

Sorry if it seemed otherwise. I guess people have to be careful about how they kid.

Sorry.

P.S. (Edit) As far as I can tell, I didn't think ANYBODY was serious, it was just locker-room-type trash talk. Which maybe isn't a great idea, but people don't mean what they say in that kind of game.

Let me clarify my post in the door thread...It was regarding the VW door locks complete with a post from another site. Read both and tell me if I'm wrong.

You mean that this other dude sounds like MoReace? Well, maybe, I'm not sure.
Sort of see what you mean, but.....

BTW I didn't see how those VW door locks would solve the problem, because as far as I can tell the main reason for having those thingies at all is to be able to pull them UP; if you put in those VW ones, you can't do that, you can only push them DOWN -- so you might as well just take out the stock one and leave it like that, which is what I did.

But I digress......

In a further doors thread clarification...I was referring to the initegraz post not the one on the IS300. Thanks for your support.

That's EXACTLY what I meant, Swam. With those VW ones, they're flush with the surface when they're locked, SO YOU CAN'T PULL THEM UP -- i.e. you can't get out of the car!

So you're no worse off if you just leave those things off completely.

I noticed in Japanese cars when you pull the handle the door remains locked, but in american cars if the door is locked and you pull the handle from the inside it unlokcs the door and lets you out.

Mo luvs everyone
let them contribute in thier own way

Larch, question
I keep hearing about this bottom hinged pedal
Does this mean it doesn;t ahve the bar on the back that goes up and behind the dash?
Is there a purpose or advantage to this?
I would think you would just have to pus on it higher and harder?

No idea. I always look up, not down.

BTW, when I first moved back to NYC some years ago, I noticed that people seemed to be looking downward a lot. At first I thought the whole city was just depressed, but after I stepped in some stuff I knew why they were looking down.

It changed a lot after the pooper-scooper law.
