I felt like it shifted a lot slower and softer than the TSX. It would be nice if it had a performance shift feature that would spicen things up a bit.

Some G owners also say the auto seems sluggish, but I don't really notice it. I can't complain with how fast 0-60 is though. Still, I can't wait for the manual G, even though I'll be driving a lot more slowly as I have no manual trans experience.

You really can't go wrong with the 5AT. It may be slower than the MT but I'm not the one to complain. And living in LA, god the traffic is horrible. That and I haven't learnt how to drive MT yet... D'oh. -_-

have at since my car is a company "perk", but driving in city traffic really makes it useful. The TSX at is one of the smoothest ones I've worked with, and I can always go to the manual gearshift if I want.

Drove my AT is some heavy rain today (whats left of Francis) and realized that it handled very nice. IMHO the AT would be a better choice for driving in rain / snow.

low torque, high revving engines are penalized more with an auto vs torquey v-6 or v-8s. Also, if you pile 4 people in the car, low torque engines take a big hit.
