I'm just curious - how many of you younger TSX owners took Auto Shop in HS?

 

I would have taken auto shop if it had been offered on campus instead of at an extension facility that was more or less a trade school.

 

I have.

 

I am over 25 and never taken Auto Shop in HS. Most of what I learned was by fixing friend's cars in high school, college, and now. Out of all the cars I have worked on, the two cars I liked working on the most were a 76 Mustang and a 73 Nova.

 

Too busy being a geek during high school to take Auto Shop. However, I found an even better place to learn in the form of the pit and garage of my high school counselor who owned a race car.

 

To be honest, i cant say i really did. i never went to class, had about 40 absesnces for 2 quaters.

 

Wood and metal shop for me. Both teachers lost 4 fingers between them....

 

autoshop was for people who were planning to do it straight out of HS. My garage is my autoshop now and the helm's manual is my textbook
