Att-Canadian Dudes, looking for rear spoiler

Good Day all,
I'm in the Mississauga area and was hoping someone could refer me to some after market shops that sell rear spoilers for my 05 tsx? What's the after market price for these?

Thanks

well....you started at the right place by NOT buying from the stealership...

what kind of spoiler do you want? ebay is KEY.

OEM probably, but my concern with ordering online is installation (car is a month old and don't want to install it myself) and paint (correct me if I'm wrong but most come primed thus I would need to source a paint job)

That's why I was hoping for a shop in the GTA

Most if not all aftermarket spoilers are exactly that. Aftermarket and you only get he spoiler. I believe the OEM spoiler comes with some extras like a new set of stiffer springs so that your trunk can pop up.

The OEM one also comes pre-painted.

I can't remember the dealer name, but there's an Acura dealer just outside of buffalo that sells OEM parts pretty cheap. They could also do the install for you.

Or you could pick up the M3 style lip spoiler off ebay and get it painted. Total should run you under $150 CDN and the installation is super easy. It's just held on with some 3M adhesive tape.

there is an ebay vendor that sells the lip spoilers painted....i think im going to order from them.

i got a price quote to paint a 1" by 46" lip and it was like $150 CDN....i cannot live with myself to pay that much money for a $50 lip.

If you shop around, you might be able to get it painted for less, but not much less. Most of the cost is just the setup and mixing the paint. It would be a lot cheaper if you were having something else painted along with it.

i can get it from ebay painted SSM for $70 USD + 35 USD shipping. it ends up being considerably cheaper than getting it done here. also, i wont have to put up with the shop BS...you know the "i cant do it now...maybe i'll get to it next week" line

I tried looking for sabersport, but couldn't find the spoiler. Do you have a link? How much did it cost all together and how long did it take to ship?
