ASM or CGP? I am losing my mind trying to decide....

I need to decide between the 2 colors in the next half hour or so. Thoughts? I know CG is really popular but I'd love to hear from some silver owners.

Those were my 2 favorites as well. I decided to take which ever came in first. ended up being the ASM. I think it looks nice and will do a great job of hiding rain spots which we get a lot of here in florida.

Yes, you will definitely get an ASM before a CGP.

I just talked to my sales rep. I ordered a CGP/Ebony Auto w/ Navi last week. He said right now I wouldn't be able to get it until February/March as they don't have any coming in, and all of them going to dealers in 6 nearby states are already sold, so they can't trade for one.

So I can either wait until then (not really an option), take the silver one (which everyone seems to have a silver sedan these days), or pick another color & see what they can do there. It's hard to make a concession on something like this for as much as the car is.

Good luck!

I went with silver because it will show the dirt less and looks great in the sun or shade. I didn't like the blueish/purple that CG picked up in certain light.

Both are great colors though!

Well, I had a silver TL-S and CL and now have a gray MDX and TSX. Needless to say I like both colors but the silver is a LOT easier to keep clean. Just on looks I like silver but the trouble is so does averyone else.

Not sure where you are from, but my local dealer (Northside of Indianapolis, IN) has an 06 CGP/5AT/Navi sitting on the lot as of this afternoon. Along with 1 NBP and 1 ASM 5AT/Navi's. I bought the only CGP 6MT/Navi available in my dealers trade area until March 1 late last week. They called today and said I can pick it up Friday afternoon

Silver is a nice colour. My problem with silver, though, is that you see it EVERYWHERE. That and it doesn't stand out. To me, it just kinda sits there, unlike NBP or RBP (!! )... when they're kept clean.

I have not seen one comment about the milano red color. No good? I would rate it ahead of silver or gray (just too common) but still behind RBP.

The reason for no comments... The TSX looks much better in the other colors... Milano Red just doesn't work that well on a sedan..sedans are not sports cars.. a red that bold belongs on sporty cars...
On the old Prelude, del Sol, Integra, NSX,or the RSX, Milano Red works..

Maybe if the red was the Rendondo Red Pearl used on the RL & Ridgeline....

I would go with the ASM. It is a great colour, the safest colour and it is the easist to keep clean.

There are silvers then there are silvers. I think that the ASM is one of the best silvers and you will not regret your decision.

Go silver.

if it came down to it for me, silver over GCP. However, being that my sisters car is silver, and gcp seemed a bit too "matured" for me, I'm going black!

Silver is just silver, dirty or not, its just a dull color.
I like dark colors. To me, it looks better when its clean. If I own a new car I would like to keep it clean at all time or most of the time if it doesnt rain. If I were to choose a color to hide the dirt then I rather get a old car. But thats just me .

i'm picking up my cg/quartz navi this weekend.

i know it's sort of the "tsx color" but i fell in love with it over 2 years ago and just couldn't find one i liked better.
my '96 civic ex is silver...it was great, but it's just so common now. we already have one black car ('02 cr-v) so wanted something else this time...

got a great deal in gaithersburg maryland, so if anyone wants my dealer info, just pm me...(they have like 25 tsx's on the lot...)

It works better if you put a full kit on the car, but otherwise, it just doesn't look right.

My salesguy starting screwing around and hemming and hawing. So I haven't had to make a decision yet. At this rate, I'm not going to have a choice by the time I get it. So frustrating!

(But I'm currently leaning toward CG.)

Arctic blue pearl. Best color in the lineup (beside white.)

But since you didn't ask for my opinion, only my choice...I'll have to go with CG. I had a choice between CG and ABP, I went with the ABP but it was an agonizingly difficult decision, I should be picking it up tomorrow!

You only say that because you have an ABP.
And along those lines, RBP is the best colour in the lineup!

I wish the RBP were just a little darker, like BMW's and Audi's dark blue. I'd be all over it.

LOL! Feliz, you're dating yourself! "Werd" as in "word up." Got a good chuckle out of that one. It does look like "weird" at first glance.

I guess I am dating myself as well. I understand "sick" but I haven't heard the expression "word up" or "werd". What exactly does it mean?

I do know what at "henway" is though.

Thanks

You guys are all crazy,.............NBP > all others,.........RBP is second best. MUAHAHAHAHA.

LOL excited,......its basically like saying you agree with something that someone said.

Your car is sexy in the RBP (me talking to waTSX and excited and excited's car)
Werd (waTSX agreeing with me)

Someone already explained that on the first page though.

I had to check with the urban dictionary to understand it a little better.

werd or word is basically the same term, werd up is werd with a little emphasis and I believe the root of the word "werd" comes from the phrase "word to your mother". In reading the definitions I came across other words I had never heard of before.

Here are some links feliz that you and I need to get caught up on. (or maybe we don't)

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=werd
