Anyway to protect the headlights?

Like the title says, is there any clear film that I could apply on the headlights so they won't become opaque with time, winter is rough here. So salt and gravel make the headlights yellow and opaque with time.

Lol.. I doubt Saran wrap would work. I mean it would just melt, wouldn't it

I am sure you can purchase a film kit such as the ones made by rock blocker etc, and yes Canadian winters do suck! I have not used any sort of film or protection since new however during spring months I apply some optimum compound with an aggressive cutting pad and bring the clarity back to new. If the vehicle is not new I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Hope that link helps?

Hmm.. alright, but would you suggest me getting some of the protected film or just leave them as they are right now. I mean they already had 4 winters on them and nothing. But I wish to keep my car for a lot longer.

These are my headlights

you could probably get a wet sanding and polishing to remove some of the less severe pitting and marring, then lay a film over it.

Agreed however if you plan on wet sanding make sure your confident in the polish your using and the ability/ technique to get rid of all the scratch marks caused by wet sanding, I have wet sanded TSX headlights before with 2000 grit paper plenty of water brought them back to life with the Quixx kit, available at most part stores, if not using a UDM or a PC should work just fine. However since your headlights are not brand new I would not worry too much about them, they’ll be fine.
