If it's genuine JDM Euro R, it's neither street legal and serviceable under warranty. So it's just an imported PITA.

haha... it's gonna be a tough sell at 29xxxK USD... For that price I'd rather pick up a brand new car that actually has a warranty. It would suck if there were a manufacturer's defect.

The JDM 220hp K20 would never meet the TSX LEV2 pollution standards, so it would be a gigantic ripoff IMO.

You can buy an 04, brand new, imported for the same price, maybe a bit less. If i'm gonna import something, it's gonna be an 04 ITR from Japan!

jdm accord type r comes with 220 hp? i though it was only 190hp

whas so difference between our engines and the engines of a type R with the 220.. arent they the same engines?

Well first off, its a euro-R, not type-R that's an entirely different model. And the Euro-R has a K20 engine (same as DC5R), while ours is a K24.

forgot....
the cl1 is actually also the "euro-r" it was the previous one, as there are 2 models. that one had a h22 in it.

Hey man. Thanks for your comment but please try not to flame me or rant in my post. Just go to the link and flame that dude. I just wanted to share my findings.
And no, I WILL NOT waste my time and money to get an euroR. The one and only car that I would consider shipping here is a R34.
