Anyone regret buying their TSX?
#81
I think I would consider buying the CL if Acura produced a new model. I would suspect it might cost more than the previous version and could extend beyond my price range.

I certainly regret that Honda chose not to import the TDI diesel or the wagon variant. Otherwise, if it wrecked or was stolen tomorrow I'd probably buy another one.
It's not perfect, though. What is?
I paid $2.029/gallon for gas yesterday. The Middle East is in trumoil, Venezuela is on the brink of rebellion, and my company moved most of it's ops out of lower Manhattan requiring that I drive 100 miles each way when I go in to work. (THANKS, Osama!)
I need an ultra-reliable car that gets good gas mileage, is decent in the snow with snow tires, is safe, comfortable and is fun to drive. Anyone have any better ideas?

I have no regrets at all. I've only had in about a month now but I love it more and more each day. Now that the engine's broken in, I'm experiencing a little better performance too. No rattles or any other problems to speak of so far.

It was love at first site....I came in.. I saw her on the show room floor..I knew she was going to be mine... I also knew I was going to be riding this baby hard , and long.
I have 1200 miles on mine, and no major issues yet.
Had the steering wheel adjusted straight...BFD.
I find it to be the perfect balance between performance and luxury.
It handles like a precision piece of machinery.
I thought wow thats alot of money for a car....but she worth it.
The more I ride , the better she gets.
Zipping here and zapping there, quickly, and easily.
All in one smooth bad Azz looking package.
Most happy....my auto and me.

I regret buying my TSX. It has very bad door rattles, and my dealer and Acura have basically blown me off. The district service manager basically said that is was a known issue, and to his knowledge, there were no plans to fix it. The customer service line was not much help either. I will never buy another Honda/Acura product agian and will recommend the same to my friends and family.

Sometimes I regret buying the car because of the rattles. By the time I get it back from the dealership on thursday, it will have been their for twelve days trying to fix the same rattle (three different four day visits).
I love the car, but wish I had waited a year or so until they worked out some of these issues. My previous car, a 2000 prelude was perfect, so I didn't need a new car. Probably should have waited.
Once it doesn't rattle, this car will probably rekindle the passion I had when I bought it, and hopefully my rattle rants will be a distant memory.
I doubt there is a better car out there for the price, but you all know that.

If anyone out there likes a manual tranny buy feels that their spouse or significant other might have difficulty driving it because they only drive auto. Buy the Manual and tell you significant other " ". Trust me you thank me later.

The HAPPY HAPPY TSX Thread
Seems like there have been a lot of negative posts in recent days. Unfortunately people that don't have any problems with their cars and enjoy driving them every day are seldom heard. I know I can't get enough of driving my TSX
So if you're happy and you know it post below.....

Anyway I have to bring some negativity to this thread. I've been having a hard time driving my TSX lately, my wife keeps wanting to drive

I'm very satisfied with my TSX ! It's alot of fun to drive, it handles excellently even with the stock Michelins. Stickier rubber will really make this car shine. My gas mileage is great at 28mpg 50% City&Hwy considering I don't exactly baby it. Power is more than adequate. I had considered a mazda 6 but with the 6 cylinder the mileage is deplorable.
Build quality is impeccable.... the doors closed with a nice solid thunk ! and lastly, though this won't last for long, The TSX is still somewhat unique amongst all of the 3 series, Audi A4s, Saabs and Maximas out there ...need I say more ?!

I bought my Milano Red with 6mt TSX about 3 weeks ago. Car is wonderful and doesn't even one thing wrong with it. No rattles or squeeks and drives perfect.
1st tank of gas I got 27mpg on a brand new engine -- wow.

You will all see me in the "whining" threads discussing the problems I am experiencing.
Despite these problems, I love my car. It is a pleasure to drive it. If I were go back to the market to buy another car in the same category and price range I would end up again with a TSX.

Well I guess you're going to have to buy another TSX. Get a 6MT so she'll keep her paws off!

I'm already partially committed to the AUX input/MP3 add-on. There goes my tax refund!
Oh, and I'm happy with my TSX too!
