Anyone know what kind of car you would want after the TSX?

I mean realistically, I always look at newer cars everyday and love to car shop. But i dont know what i would get if something happened to my car.
I've always wanted a TL and would prob go that route.

Just been thinking of when i would get a new car (prob when i graduate) what would i want, and would i miss my tsx too much lol

i love this car

I originally was planning to get a new car in March/April 2010 but now have decided to wait for the 2011 models- my list right now includes- TL, another tsx, mazdaspeed 3, civic SI or a subaru legacy. Of course, I want the car to have 6MT.

Not sure, but something with more utility would be nice. Would love an A3 Quattro TDI, but am scared of Audi reliability. CTS sportwagon maybe? GM scares me, too. It's a couple years away so there's still time. If all else fails, another TSX would be in the running as well.

Do you really feel torque steer in your TSX?

I'm in the same boat that you're in dmassott, I have too many cars on my wish list. But, if I have to break it down, I would seriously and realistically look into a Maxima, Legacy, 4Runner, Tacoma.

My next car is definitely not going to be an Acura.

well... only a few more payments and she's mine forever. The next car? It's gonna be the NSX!

I'm looking for something with a bit more versatility as well. I want a small CUV (like the Equinox or CR-V), or maybe an A3 TDI (the only wagon I'd consider).

My lease is up in April 2010 so I'll have to start shopping soon.

If I had to trade it in, I'd probably get a Civic SI 4 door, ie a 4 door commuter that's fun, NA, moddable, etc. Or a Prius. They're obviously not 'upgrades' per se, but this car in my 'fleet' was always going to be a commuter car.

But since I won't have payments pretty soon, I'm just gonna keep maintaining it til the wheels fall off.

Something that has atleast 300hp like a TL-S or S4, I can't stand how slow my AT TSX is.

If I had to get rid of mine, I would probably look into an RL, NSX or maybe a boxter. I've always wanted a porsche.

Realistically, it would be either a BMW 335i or a Infiniti G Coupe.

Toyota Tundra. Drastically different I know, but I'm sorta done with cars at the moment. The real goal is to get a new Ducati though. So what may end up happening is I take over the wife's 09 Pilot Touring and get her something else. Love that Pilot a lot.

I would get another used 2005 TSX. That is how much I like the car.

A BMW 535i is pretty good. I just bought an 09 and it has been a pleasure to drive. I was looking a more mature every day car that provide comfort and style and this car definitely has that.

um... and why would you want to do that? you jackrabbit starting at every light?

tsx and the phrase "torque steer" don't really go hand-in-hand... maybe if yer' FI, but NA?...

per this thread, i dunno, i too am almost done paying off the car (gonna' make a large lump sum payment). i'm thinking of keeping it till at least 150-200K miles and save the money instead... i'll prolly brace up the car a bit to tighten the handling but that's about it... i enjoy driving the car and enjoy its understated yet slightly european inspired look.

i would probably go with something that has more utility and AWD. I was thinking the STi Wagons. it would fit my bikes and snowboards really nicely. But it's not nearly as professional looking as the TSX, but don't really take clients around that much.

I'll want whatever looks good in 2018. That's when my last child will be out of college. Until, then, it's me and my TSX. I'll probably go for something 2-door. Would go for a full electric vehicle if there was a good one that wasn't an econo-box. Definitely sporty or sports car. If it was today, 370Z/G37 or a used Lexus SC. Maybe even a used Porsche Cayman S....

After I'm done with the TSX I want either a 4G Acura TL SH-AWD, Acura RL, Infiniti M45, or Lexus GS430. I kinda want a SUV to so if I go that route I'd take an Infiniti FX50

If I keep the TSX, it would have to be something like a Corolla or a Honda Fit. Something economical/reliable but somewhat fun. My blown TSX can be the weekender. I do sometimes think of a 5 door blue WRX but wonder about the long term life of the car. After modding the TSX and having a few headaches I JUST WANT reliability.

I just bought my '08 last year, so I'm good for a few years. However, my fiancee wants a Porsche after she finishes dental school. I figure once she's tired of that I'll take it off her hands.. Till then I'm sure the TSX will keep me happy.

The TSX belongs to the wifey. We are waiting for the 2011 or 2012 MDX for her (worried about the 6AT Tranny problems w/ 2010 MDX). The TSX will be my daily driver replacing my Accord. We will save the TSX for our son when he is ready to drive in about 4 years.

If I had to pick today Audi S5 coupe or Caddy CTS-V for me, MDX for her, cheap ass accord/civic daily commuter.

I'm done with front drivers and probably Honda/Acura with the direction they seem to be taking their styling... I've ALWAYS had a thing for AWD hatches, but I refuse to drive an AT. DSGs don't count - they're still slushboxes to me. That limits it to an STi, unless Audi/VW puts a manny in the A3 Quattro or R32 for the US.

With a '05 TSX, '07 TL-S, and '03 MDX in the garage, it's actually kind of sad to even think about leaving the "family"... even the wifey wants to move on... to a lifted Wrangler Unlimited no less!

Waiting to see how the MB E550 Coupe shakes out in the first few month for reliability. Then the TSX will have to find another home... Goodbye 200 HP...

You oughta get wifey that Jeep, that would be a p. sweet ride especially in the winter. I say trade in the MDX towards the Wrangler, and hang on to the TSX and TL-S -- those are two of the last good-looking vehicles Acura has made, and if they still run well and you enjoy driving them, I'd hang on to them!
