I work in schools, so when I drive up in my 1.7EL, everyone's like "Wow....that must be expensive!". But, this is at one of the schools where the staff and I are all good friends. I can't wait for the flack I get when I drive up in a TSX....
As far as the cost of the TSX goes, I *do* think it's a bit expensive, given my wage (about $18/hour....remember, it's in schools. A TSX basically equals my entire year's income before taxes), and given the cars my family has bought in the past. Basically, we've never bought a car over $30K. Even my Dad's Maxima was only like $28K or something--and our brand new MPV was around $27-28.

man, i was just driving and got home and this guy in a pontiac sunfire kept tailing me and then went to the other lane and looked at me, i had sunglasses on today and gave a wtf look. i drive normal and didn't change lanes. maybe he's one of the guys that doesn't like import cars.
