Anyone beat $27,745???

I just bought my TSX yesterday thanks to one of the threads on this site.

A poster said he got an internet quote of $27,745 and was able to get his car at that price. That was the lowest price I've seen. So I thought I should be able to get that same price as well.

Long story short, I went into the dealer, told him that price and they matched it. Here's what I got:

Brand new 2007 black on black auto with navi.

Did anyone else get theirs for a lower price? If not, then $27,745 is the price you should offer when you walk into the dealer.

Oh, and make sure they don't try to add destination fees to that as well.

Thanks guys!

Well, $28,282 is tissue on the car, and there's $500 dealer cash this month (at least in the NE region), so your price comes out to an awkward $37 gross loss for the dealer... but yes, there's no reason why you couldn't get the car for something like $27,782 this month if you play your cards right. Or if you have a trade-in that they can screw you on.

The best price i've seen for a tsx was on memorial day. Paragon Acura in NYC was having some crazy sale. 25,888 for a 2007 tsx with 1.9% financing.

jaehshim....when did you buy your TSX? I went to Park Ave Acura last week...and the best they could do for me was $28,450 AT w/navi. Does your $27,500 price include destination ?

And did you try Ramsey Acura? I hear Park Ave Acura is better. Any comments on your buying experience?

hey frack,
i got mine July 1st, 2006, so just last summer
That price is good, but not good enough i guess, and i kinda feel ya, last week i went to Park Ave for my sister's car RDX, and they won't go down with the price.

the car price included destination price. after 27500 for the car and destination charge, the tax, doc fee, tire tax, license, were included, as well as my a-spec underbody kit with installation ($1448).

I went to Ramsey as well, but personally, they didn't offer me a good price, and i liked the park ave deal better, also bigger in size, more cars.

i say go both and see what they give, because they are both good dealers. i was quoted a dealer called Curry Acura in NY? , didn't even bother to go because i needed a car fast.

JaehShim,

This is off-the-topic, but how did your sister's deal on RDX at Park Avenue go? Did the price reach invoice?

In fact, I am also interested in getting an RDX in northeast NY, so NJ dealers are also on my contact list. I did see that Park Avenue has Korean staff, but read on the internet that the dealership is not as friendly as others (at dealerrater.com).

It would be great if I can find an Acura dealer in NJ/NY who has offered an RDX at around invoice.... It would be of great help if you can shed some light on your experience!

Thanks for the Info. Yeah, I plan on playing bother Ramsey Acura and Park Ave against each other.

Were you able to squeeze anything else out of the dealer? Free oil changes ect? And how's their service dept?

in fact, there's korean salesperson everywhere i visit (VW, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes, Acura, Toyota, Honda, Lexus, Volvo, Mazda, and Nissan i've visited)
i speak fluent korean, but i NEVER deal with korean staff, nor even look to see if there's korean salesperson at any dealer. honestly, maybe the reason is from my experience; i don't expect to get a "better" deal because i try to work with a korean salesperson.

anyway, she was looking for an RDX , and i talked with one of financial department person, and obviosuly he gave me a sticker price deal. i didn't even try to deal, because she wanted to look at IS, and ended up getting the IS250 awd.

If you go to RDX section on the website, there are few members who purchased RDX from Park Ave, at around invoice price.
I can recommand Frank Corollo at PArk Ave, good guy, one of those salesperson who tries to work the price "with" you. Park Ave told us they receive about 30~50 RDXs a month, so you get the idea.

as mentioned, try Ramsey, they are a good dealer as well.

Sales tax has to be factored in of course. I payed $28,600 for mine...no sales tax in OR. They seem to offer better "pre-tax" deals in states where sales tax is likely to set you back several thou on a new car.

My case is one of the fewer lucky exceptions though...obviously most states have sales tax. That said, $27,745 is a great deal...damn near listed invoice price.

personally I love red cars. I do not like automatic transmission so I have the tsx I love- a 06 milano red/ebony 6 spd w/nav for 6 months now. It has 16,532 miles of fun driving. I see alot of the white, gray and silver tsx's on the road. Just enjoy it.

Got mine Carbon Grey/Ebony with Navi yesterday for $27,150.
Also bought extended 8yrs/100,000 miles warranty for $1,600.
Dealership options are ridiculously negotiable, just like the car.

no offense mark, but just to clarify so people won't be dissapointed if they don't get a deal anywhere as good as yours...

the car you bought was a new '06 right?
