Anybody here gone to Duval Acura in Jax?

I'm planning on trading in my '04 for the new '06 and was just wondering if anybody here has dealt with Duval Acura in Jacksonville, Fl. I want to get the best deal I can possibly get this time (considering I think I overpaid by about $500 last time). I've still got some time before the '06 is available but there are not many Acura dealers around my area and I'm trying to figure out where I should go.

Mine is getting older (and disturbingly more unreliable) and the new '06 has alot of new stuff that I would like to have. I'm also looking at the new IS250/350 and the 330i but I doubt I can get the features that are standard on the TSX for anywhere near the same money.

I have been to Duval Acura before. I didn't buy a car there, I just went inside to look around on some weekends. Some people are friendly and will help you out right away. That happened the first time I went to Duval Acura. The second time I went in, I couldn't get anyone to help me if my life depended on it. Of course, it could have been since they might have been busy, but still. Overall, I think it's a pretty friendly place.

Labor Day is on July 4th. I'm up for a meet.......... There's an empty parking area at the corner of 103rd and Blanding. Plenty of places to eat, etc. Anyone in J-ville, OP or surrounding areas interested??

Independence Day = July 4th? You meant September 4th right?

I also got mine at Acura of Orange Park and get it serviced there. Got a fair enough price. The service is indeed excellent the times I have been in there. All except for the ridiculousness of installing the a-spec suspension (but all the dealers in the area and in the Orlando area quoted the same absurd price and wouldn't budge).

The few times I've been at Duval, they were very friendly and helpful. A friend of mine had his CL serviced there for a few years and loved the service. Even got a first name basis with the guy who serviced his car.

But as always, your mileage may very...

What's this business about becoming unreliable after 16k miles?

It's not exactly unreliable, just having more problems than I'm accustomed to a Honda having (especially since its still so new). Mostly, though, I just want a new one. That new IS350 is VERY tempting. Can't wait to test drive it!
