Lutz here. I haven't got my TSX yet but it should be here any day. Anyone know of a good custom audio installer in Tampa with reasonable rates? I'd just like to get some speakers installed and a Sirius unit that would need a little custom dash fabrication in the top storage compartment. Also, any good tint shops? I see a bunch of them but who is the best in Tampa? Thanks.

When you get your TSX you should let me know and you can take a look at the Sirius install I did on my car. I put the display in the top storage and it looks pretty sweet. I'll try and get some pics up.

As for tint, I got mine done at Buzz-Off on Dale Mabrary. My family and I have had a total of six cars tinted by them. They do pretty good work. Also Divine Sounds on the corner of Waters and Dale Mabrary does good work too.

I've never had any custom work done to any of my cars so I don't have any actual experience with any of these shops. But I have seen some of the work Buzz-Off does and its real clean. But their prices are kinda steep.

But you should definitly hit me up when you get your car and take a look at some of the stuff I've done. My email is in my profile. In the next couple of weeks or so I'm going to be installing a sub, new door speakers, new tweeters, a four channel amp, a mono amp, and bypassing the factory amp. I'll have some fun figuring that stuff out .

The Kenwood or other units don't interest me at all BTW. I don't plan on doing any major mods to my TSX. It's just a business/beater car for me that I'll be racking a ton of miles up on. I would like to upgrade the speakers (just the speakers in the stock locations) for a cheap sound cleanup and add Sirius radio since I live in my car all day and it will be nice to have some decent radio when I'm buried in the Everglades or some other podunk/rural area. Also, of course since we're in FL, tinted windows are a must (I'm only going about 35%) and I may update my dome/door lights to different bulbs (blue in the doors and a brighter/whiter light in the domes). Those mods will keep me happy in my daily commutes (3K miles/mo) and for the purpose of this car.
